European Solidarity Corps Project
Are you between 18 and 30 years old and looking for an opportunity to help the wider community in Europe and beyond? You can do so with the funding and support of the European Solidarity Corps, which helps young people participate in projects that benefit communities, both abroad and in their own country.
These projects offer a stimulating and empowering experience, as well as the opportunity to make changes while developing your skills and competencies. European Solidarity Corps participants bring with them ideas, beliefs and expectations. Participating organizations are required to ensure a respectful and trusting welcome environment.
What Can You Do with the European Solidarity Corps?
Most of the opportunities offered by the European Solidarity Corps are cross-border volunteering activities. These projects allow you to help where needed; learn new skills; spend time abroad and perhaps learn a new language; create unforgettable memories. The volunteering activities cover a wide range of issues such as environment, health, inclusion, digital technologies, culture and sports. You can choose between individual volunteering (lasts from 2 to 12 months usually in a country different from your own) and team volunteering (lasts from 2 weeks to 2 months in which volunteers from at least 2 different countries work together).
Solidarity Projects
These projects address local, regional, or national challenges and reflect European values such as inclusion, climate change, democratic engagement, citizenship, or gender equality. The project can last from 2 to 12 months.
